Businesses in Gowanus: Glory Social Club
Here's another iPhone picture from my series of the somewhat peculiar storefronts that dot my neighborhood. I'm really drawn to the signage of these places - they're sort of a barometer of the changes occuring in the area, going through the cycles of decay and renewal while maintaining the aesthetic of whatever era they were born into.
The crowd that usually hangs out in front of this place is about as welcoming as the "members only" warning painted on the window.
